The Steam Engine providers rotational power to 2 structures: the Water Pump, and Mecanical Rails. It must be connected to the Steam Generator via a Steam Pipe to work. It provides 2 rotational power per 1 Steam and 1 Work Unit.
To provide rotational power to structures, the Steam Engine must be adjacent to the structure and the wheel of the Steam Engine must be facing the object you need powered.
